We have much to learn from the so called ‘third world and to be to teach something of value. Our goal is to create a school of art and design in Brasil that values the culture and traditions of the indigenous populations and creates graduates with an internationally recognised qualification in design, technology and marketing
Each of our products features one or more elemento that are remnants, the waste products of industrial production, learning from a so called ‘impoverished’ society the methods of re-using things all around them. Through the combination of artesan traditions of different peoples we give new life to these materials and create accessories for today’s fashion.
Penso a questo pianeta, alla sua natura e alla quantita’ di cose che ci offre ad ogni metro quadrato.
Da qui nasce la nostra fantasia, cerchiamo quindi di rispettarla per mantenere piu’ pulito questo bacino di ispirazione
I think of this planer, her nature and her espanse, the things that she offers in every squre metre. It it from here that our imagination grows, so let’s respect her and try and clean up and mantain this font of inspiration.
In ogni nostro prodotto inseriamo uno o piu’ elementi che vengono da rimanenze di lavorazioni industriali, imparando da societa’ piu’ “povere” ad utilizzare prima le cose che abbiamo attorno, servendoci delle tradizioni artigianali di piu’ popoli ridiamo vita ai materiali realizzando accessori moda attuali.
Credo di aver molto da imparare dal “terzo mondo” e di poter insegnare qualcosa di giusto. Il nostro obiettivo e’ creare una scuola di arti e mestieri in Brasile per valorizzare la cultura e le tradizioni delle popolazioni indigene e dare una formazione a livello internazionale di design, tecnologia e marketing
